this apparently marks my 100th submission (which was unintentional, but is fitting i think), so now im finally making a proper introduction and ref sheet for woolly. i cant imagine its very common for object show characters to even have ref sheets, but whatever, my whole profile is very furry adjacent. i also plan on making ref sheets for my other object characters, especially neali
creative backstory:
woolly is my ball of yarn objectsona. hes one of the first object show characters i have ever drawn, first drawn on 5 september 2022. this wouldve been just a few months after i discovered what an object show even was. my very original persona was a sheep, and since 2015 ive been incorporating 'sheep' as part of many of my usernames like 'MHF_jebSheep' on minecraft or 'SheepishMagpie' on discord. yarn is often wool-based and i was able to incorporate furry elements like a tail and ear-like needles as a vague reference to my old furry personas
personality:
woolly is generally the most positive in a group. he has an idealistic mindset and always tries to see the good in people. he generally avoids conflict unless he thinks he can be the mediator. he sets high expectations for himself whether its to please others or to put his best foot forward when meeting someone which causes him to be doubtful of himself when he falls a little short. he also tries to be the comedy relief when the situation is appropriate both for fun and to fit in with his friends.
*woolly and most of my other characters arent too developed. maybe ill edit the description later or maybe whenever i make a new ref sheet or something
i also made a version with my more stylised colour palette, which i actually kind of like more than this, but if im going to make a reference sheet i gotta use my more standard colours, otherwise people are going to think woolly is grey
