Xenogears is the best game ever made.
I am currently trying to find Xenogears covers for my Mega Man 2 rom hack I am making using the famitracker, I'm transcribing The Treasure Which Cannot Be Stolen right now, and I have literally 0 idea how to do anything but I am trying.
I ran into some of your stuff and they are awesome, do you have any true 2a03 without DCPM samples for Xenogears? I'd love to use them if you make the .ftm files available.

It's a much greater challenge trying to represent more complex music in 2A03, and in general you can only do that by drastically trimming detail. With these arrangements, I deliberately aimed high while still remaining within the realm of what the NSF format allows for, so I haven't made 2A03-only versions. It might be a fun idea to adapt entire soundtracks that way, but the closest I ever came to releasing something like that was when I arranged a replica of Battletoads GB's soundtrack to FamiTracker - and that was largely a lateral conversion because of the existing similarities between 2A03 and Game Boy sound hardware.
Well, if you did the entire xenogears* soundtrack (or 20 some odd songs) 2a03 only no DCPM I'd 100% use that entire thing for a future mega man hack if you were interested, probably 5 because that one works well with the famitracker, mm3 is buggy and doesn't work on NES, just famicom. Same with 4/6. Has to do with the mapping.
