My boyfriend’s mother calls fireflies “fairies” and I don’t really need more of an excuse to draw one than that :3
I wanted to base it on real species again, but used less stuff than last time. Used the Eastern Firefly or ‘Big Dipper Firefly’ wings for reference and the Trumpet Honeysuckle for the tail. You can always tell when a bloom is going to sprout when you get those funny fused leaves :)
