He LOVES to sunbathe. I don't often let him tho has he is pink skinned and could be prone to burning. He has a carpet out on the patio that I let him go out on in the afternoons when the patio is shaded, this satisfies him. My patio is surrounded in bushes and fenced with a decorative white plastic fence that's 4 1/2 ft tall and I put coated chicken wire on the lower 2ft as he could fit between the plastic bars.Sneaky boy was sneaking out into the yard and I did not want him stolen again.

Our best guess is hes a mix of Papillon and Dachshund. He was found as a stray in 2004 so we will never know for sure. He showed up at the beginning of the "Hybrid craze" when everyone was mixing everything with dachshunds. I have actually had a breeder scream at me for fixing him as according to her he is the ideal they try for when mixing the 2 breeds.
He was stolen from my aunts yard in 2005 by a bitch who did not know what fixed meant. She had approached my aunt wanting to breed him to her chihuahua and when my aunt told him no and why she stole him. He was found a week later wandering the streets and a lady saw my newspaper ad and returned him to me. This was before he had any SD documentation so I could not keep him here I was staying. Thankfully when I got him back I talked to the landlady and she allowed him to stay after I ran him through his obedience paces for her.
Wow... Some people are so freaking stupid. They are just one of the many reasons Seph is NOT allowed outside un-attended, even when we had a 7ft privacy fence. So glad you got the little guy back and had a landlady kind enough to let him stay. (How anyone could NOT love that little guy though...XD)
