A bunch of my recurring science characters, together in the same photoshoot. I drew this a while ago but I'm surprised I haven't posted this yet
From left to right we have:
Specializing in lasers and their applications, as well as dabbling with portals and teleportation, he is physically the smallest of the cohort. His experiments range from overwhelmingly mundane to existentially threatening, though his personality is considerably more meek and mild.
While very much acting out the stereotype of a 'hippie scientist' who dabbles in various psychedelics, David at least has the excuse of having a parasitic (though it prefers for it to be referred as 'symbiotic') alien vine infesting his brain. Though his personality is slightly altered from before (he was much more spry, alert, and energetic before he was infected), he is still kept on the research team because his work quality has surprisingly improved. The vine is, as far as we know, no able to infect other individuals.
While not the eldest member of the cohort, she acts as the de-facto leader due to her stern, serious nature and willingness to tolerate unexpected bullshit. Her own work is much less interesting than what typically happens to her, however, as she now wears an earpiece constantly in her left ear thanks to involuntary experiments done by Dr. Wolffe which has resulted in her brain to swell far beyond the confines of her skull. This isn't much of an issue as she's currently working on constructing various robot servitors which she can control remotely, including a receiver to her former body.
It's rumored that Albert didn't actually attend medical school and that he instead showed up one day and lobotomized the medical directors to get them to sign off on his degrees (thankfully he stitched their frontal lobes back before he left). Regardless, somehow he acquired this position and has been nothing but trouble for everyone within a mile radius of him. The fact that he is holding a remote in his hands is rather concerning.
