Miacis are members of small omnivorous mammalian Fatikelij Species native to all of Ceal, with the exception of the Zodiac Isles. They resemble a mix between weasel, cat and fox and are opportunistic arboreal hunters that also eat fruits and berries.
Miacis typically form monogamous pairs that stay together almost constantly, and don't stray far from one another even while hunting or foraging. If one of a pair of Miacis dies, the other becomes heartbroken and follows its mate soon after.
Miacis are also one of the few Fatikelij species that are capable of consciously using Iserialogy, and while their repertoire is limited, they can use Iserialogy quite effectively for hunting purposes, as well as self-defense and healing.
