Welcome to the Stellar Neighbourhood. A small number of galactic empires that have colonized this small portion of the Nebulon Galaxy. Here's a short key to understand the markings.


Shaded Coloured Regions: Empires


Small stars: Star systems used for industry and resource gathering


Large Stars: Colonized star systems that have a sizable population and centralized government.


Highlighted Text: Capital Star Systems


Solid lines: Hyper jump lanes


Green Regions: International Zones. Other species come together for political meetings, trading and intermingling. Not many rules are put in place in these regions. Normally the scene for most galactic incidents.


Neutral zone: Due to the aggression of the Tarek Legion and the provocation of war, a treaty was signed between the Danarians, Caperions, and the Tarek to prevent colonization of this space.


Danarian Empire:

Race of blue to purple-ish cat-like species that have managed to achieve faster-than-light travel in a rather short period of time. The empire consists of 4 star systems with the Danari system being the capital. Most of the planets and star systems around them are rich in rare elements and resources which help their stellar development. They have good relations with the other empires except for the Tarek Legion due to their hostile nature and previous galactic incidents.

The main goal of the empire is to provide security for primitive planet species and forge galactic peace. The former being done on the newly colonized planet Hexarus Prime in the Hexarus system.


Caperium Kingdom:

A chain of star systems ruled by a monarchy of large rodent-like species. We thought to be the first in the neighbourhood to achieve FLT. Resources among the kingdom's star systems are not as plentiful and the kingdom normally trades with the Danarian Empire which they have grown to become allies of. There is a rather rigid class system in place however most of the lower class population have access to a wide variety of amenities.


Tarek Legion:

Race of reptilian-like species. They are quite barbaric and strive to conquer all the other systems. They believe that the stronger species must be on top and because of this many planets that they have colonized have slave populations. They are allegedly in ties with space pirates that attack transport ships that steal people and good for their cause. The other empires around them do not like them very much and multiple incidents have almost plunged them into a galactic war. Because of having to face a war with at least 2 other empires they have elected to not continue expanding beyond the neutral zone and go "west" instead. However, they do continue to send their ships there looking to oppose mostly the Danarian Empire's expanse.


Pterora Tribe:

Race of Pteranodon-like species. They are more primitive than the other empires and were the last to achieve FTL which they used to colonise their only other planet Hob. They mostly do not want anything to do with the other empires and would rather stay solitary. They mostly meet the other species at the international zones.
