I'shigare series symbols/ Origin of my new watermark
-FA notice-
Depending on the demand for it i may or may not post submissions on this FA account, i see FA as a fun place to chill, DA is where i post more serious stuff. So as far as this submission is concerned you can just use it as an explaination for my new watermark :)
Whats this?
Some I'shigare series stuff? Oh yes, I've been keeping it under wraps because i haven't felt i was good enough to draw the various creatures that hold these symbols, but now i am improving (or at least i like to think so), I think I'm going to give them a go.
These symbols represent the 6 senses Sight, Sound, Smell, Taste, Touch and Conscience. Conscience is the one at the bottom, Tabbytiger is the guardian of this one. You have to guess which match the others, can you guess what inspired each symbol?
The symbol in the middle is the symbol of the entity that created my brainworld, can you spot how it is made up of the other senses? In short this is the symbol for Life on I'shigare
Basic storyline.
Bad force- Choas, in its pure form appears as a shimmery black slime, it has the ability to manifest itself in people and cause the to become verrukt, and those being become slaves of chaos (in really bad situations they actually become a Wesen which is the form chaos will morph a fully verrukt being into)
I'shigare is earth's mirror representing 'light'. Earth represents 'dark', yet both contain some of the opposite as neither can survive alone. Chaos caused earth to become a corrupt future age smog covered world that forgot the legend that described it's creation.
The two opposites are kept apart by the Veil (magical barrier), I'shigarians can enter earth, but people from earth should not enter I'shigare as it upsets the balance, as too much Chaos enters I'shigare it will cause I'shigare to be thrown into termoil. (as the Chaos itself is an intelligent conciousness)
Legend has it that once both lands were one, a planet of light with no dark. The entity who created this planet was foolish as she did not understand that light cannot exsist without dark. Over time darkness grew in the cracks of the world, and as the entity had not created a balance for light and dark, the darkness grew, it became intelligent and dubbed itself Chaos. It began to infect all inhabitants of the land causing wars and bloodshed. The entity was horrified as it watched it's planet drown in seas of blood, however it could not intervene, as she was not a physical being. Chaos however, was.
In a desperate attempt to save her beloved planet she split her magic into the 5 senses that she gave to her beings to explore and live on the planet: Sight, Sound, Touch, Smell and Taste and gave them to 5 guardians she created to fight the chaos. The entity watched weakly as the chaos receded, when she finally understood that she had to have darkness in her planet so she created a sixth sense, the sense of Conscience, so that her beings may balance themselves the light and dark in their souls. Sadly this was not enough, as the chaos has infected every corner of her planet, she used the last of her strength to divide the planet, banishing the Chaos, into a mirrored world. She took care to plant some light in 'Earth' and some Chaos in 'I'shigare', she knew that chaos would grow on either side, as due to her previous mistakes it had become intellegent, and that one day she would have to face the same problem. So she lay dormant until the day she would be summoned.
My book is about that last scentence.

I just copy and paste same summaries with tiny tweaks from dA and FA. xD I post my quickies here while dA is for those pictures I like most. So yeah, I'm on both picture wise and such. But you can decide what works the best for you, Tabbykins. <3
Anyways... onto the picture and storlines and such. :D These all symbols are just so cool looking. Especially since they are glowy. x3 I'm going to suck at this but here goes... For the blue one, is that the touch one? I picture it as a water ripple. Then I'm pretty sure that red one is the eye which means it's the sight one. Smell's the orange triangle thing that would represent the nose? :D Then let's see, Sound's the green one that would be something like a transmitter/radio-ish thing? Then the pink/violet would be the taste, to me it looks like a beak. x3 I hope I got some of them correctly... xD Hurhur.

Like does it have magic and such or it's just plain old boring world we live in? xD The entity that created the planet, do you have a picture of her and is she bigger part of the story? Since Tabbytiger is the guardian for the conscience, then have you decided who are the others and are they all the main characters or rather Tabbytiger's friends and such?

Yeah here i put pathetic artsist comments ah haaa, i often post stuff here soone rthan i do DA its quicker less hassling with catergories and that XD Plus i like to put longer comments on DA too, because people actually read them there :P
HAha come on you can't have ancient symbols and not have them GLOWEH. And haha you got them all right bar one- the taste is an open jaw with a tounge but a beak is perfectly acceptable i think :) I think the easiest is the eye :) Each of the glows also relates a bit to their colour scheme, also with the conscience one, look at tabby's horns as i've started drawing them, see a similarity in the shape (that was total coincidence, a good one eh?) They all seem to slot together so well, they were meant to be :)
I'm glad you like the story :) It is the earth we live on, boring and old, covered in smog, cities seem deserted, lots of genetic experiments, government broke down they're free to test as they like, as a result lots of half breeds as they're called strut around, giving the I'shigarians somthing to blend in with so along with these half breeds they created a bustling underground city where only a few humans who like the half breeds venture.
I don't just yet lots of sketches though she'll probably be the last to be designed shes taking a lot of thinking, im waiting for a moment of inspiration. So im going on lots of horse rides thinking about it (i come up with designs best when im riding ah ha) And yes she does play a part in the story :P
I have a couple planned out, the sound one is designed i just need to scan him in and colour him, i want to make proper references now for these guys :)
And i will be writing it up at some point yes :)
