LOL
I've had so much fun with the little critters in the course of my life.
While in N.C. (Camp Lejeune), when I had to pull 'Firewatch' during the hours the E-Club/Bars closed, knowing I'd be dealing with sauced Marines returning to the barracks (Usually quite,,, boisterous in their revelry), one of the fastest 'Cures' for anyone being irate when told to keep it down, was prying off and shoving in their faces, one of the hanging leezards I had gathered from the nearby woods earlier that evening, and neatly 'Clipped' to my earlobes. Dangling with their legs/tails swaying with every step, if that alone didn't give a rowdy 'Return' pause, *FLINGING* one of them at the offender definitely stopped any thoughts they might've had about causing further trouble! (To the best of my knowledge, no leezard ever suffered real damage/death, 'cause I certainly looked and never found one after things calmed down).
While traveling throughout the 'Great Southwest,' I'd often find hitch hiking reptiles in my baggage, which didn't really bother me (Provided they didn't happen to be of a venomous variety!), though I myself got more than a few good jump scares when they'd suddenly leap/dash away as I set up my next camp!
So much fun, for being such little guys!
thx for that piccie, and the trip down memory lane!
