Next on the list of Mains. I can use a lot of people in MVC, but my special love comes in the form of Marvel's resident conquering tentacle monster, Shuma Gorath. I only recently found out exactly where Shuma's origins lie and who it acts as antagonist for(Dr Strange). With a whole boatload of dimensions under its tight tentacled grasp, it's never been able to get Earth.

Gamewise, Shuma Gorath became a superball in MVC3 thanks to Capcom changing the command for Mystic Smash into a flick instead of a charge. So it's an escape, a distance closer, a 6 hit combo for crouch tech users, and I can use it to jump over projectiles. Mystic ray is a great addition for assist spam, and getting a super version allows me to control the air. With the deceptive reach added into the creature, I'm loving the newest incarnation. Now if only I could get as enthused for whomever I pick as Shuma's partners, I could truly enjoy myself more.
