In light of me possibly failing another portfolio review, I decided to work on some artwork, starting with this one.

This is based off of a poster I made for a digital media class back in early 2022. I made that poster using Adobe Illustrator, and it forced me to think lineless. It wasn't exactly the best poster, but it worked for what it's worth. Nowadays, I'm much better at drawing now that I have gotten copious amounts of practice with the drawing tablet I got that semester, which didn't start using regularly until 2023. Hopefully, with the feedback I've gotten and the criteria I need to meet, I hope I can pass this review on a prayer.

As for the subject, Squila Van Whaley is a scientist for the Solus Laboratory Institution. In this poster, she poses for the geology department by picking up a piece of Urtanite, a strange yet mundane rock with vibrant veins. The cave is vast and simple, but the darkness hopes to instill a sense of unease with any future potential Solus associates.
