[SFM - Commission] Morgana Dominates Puss In Boots
Puss In Boots loses his honor to the gentleman thief!
Anyone who knows of the legendary Puss In Boots acknowledges him as the most fearless and honorable hero of the land. However, he wasn't always regarded as such. In his early life, he was known as an assassin and thief. Although he had left that life in the past, the memories of his actions remained in his mind, sometimes affecting his cognitive self. One night, after a long day of adventuring in an unfamiliar territory, Puss decided to take a break at the nearest bar. Originally, he planned to only order one glass of leche. But after entertaining the bar folk with stories of his adventure, one drink became two…and then two became several. Unbeknownst to the distracted Puss, a stranger who was rather irritated by him decided to spike his unfinished drink, pouring multiple shots of a magical yet undetectable espresso into his glass. Without much thought, Puss took a sip of the spiked drink, ignorant of its contents. He felt fine for a while, but slowly felt something was wrong. He couldn't grasp why. After finishing up his stories and drinks, he eventually gathered himself to find a local inn, quickly falling asleep there.
At first, nothing seemed out of the ordinary as Puss slept. But as time went on, he could feel his pulse rising as memories from his past appeared in his mind. The memories were haunting and his mind was slowly beginning to break. The stranger’s espresso had begun to take over in his body, distorting his reality and behavior. Its effects continued until a sudden spike in energy forcibly woke up the orange cat in a nervous sweat. Before he knew it, he found himself in an unfamiliar place: the busy streets of Shibuya. Suddenly alone in some foreign land, Puss was stunned and confused. To make matters worse, the espresso obscured his sense of reason and justice with anxiety and panic, slowly bringing out the worst of him. The humans couldn’t care less about his presence, but their expressionless gazes had the delirious Puss believe that someone was out to get him. Out of panic and irrationality, he shouted and challenged anyone who dared to glance at him, referring to himself as “the legend". Many walked away from him to avoid the disturbance, fueling his misplaced ego to its peak. Before he could challenge another person, his glance came across a distraught black-and-white cat who walked by without saying a word. Alerted by their sudden onset, Puss quickly challenged the tuxedo cat to a battle, but the uninterested feline simply ignored him and walked away. Due to the espresso, Puss' ego and energy inclined him to follow the cat known as Morgana.
Before encountering Puss, a stressed Morgana had been walking around Shibuya in deep thought, mostly thinking about his capabilities as a Phantom Thief. The last thing he needed were problems. As if on cue though, the orange tabby he had been ignoring suddenly blocked his path. Now annoyed with the encounter, he loudly hissed at Puss to back away…only for the tabby to surprise him with a tackle, causing both of them to roll off a stairway and land into a smaller alley. As Morgana struggled to shake him off, he had failed to realize he had accidentally activated his ability to travel to the Metaverse, causing them both to arrive into an alternate version of the alley within Mementos. Mona realized his mistake as he noticed himself in his phantom thief form. Puss also noticed the change in appearance, convincing himself that this strange cat creature was the one out to get him. Determined, he drew his blade and called the thief to a duel. The irritated Mona also drew his blade, ready to use his Persona until he realized something about his opponent: the orange tabby was neither a shadow nor Persona user. Deciding to restrain himself to his swordsmanship, Mona began clashing swords with Puss in a fierce battle. Although both felines were evenly matched, Mona could sense that his opponent was becoming quicker as the duel progressed. Knowing that he couldn't prolong the fight, he quickly thought of a plan to weaken Puss for a finishing blow.
To set his plan in motion, Mona used his knowledge of the distorted alleyways to quickly lure Puss into a dead end. Adapting to Puss' fighting style, Mona perfectly timed a powerful thrust that slammed his opponent into a solid brick wall. Puss crashed into the wall so hard that his cape loosened from his neck and fell onto the concrete. The dazed Puss could feel his stamina weakening, but he was too stubborn to accept defeat as he charged back at the thief. However, Mona quickly took the opportunity to wear him down further with a second improvised thrust, knocking Puss to the ground this time. The determined yet weakened tabby barely returned to his fighting position, leading to the vigilant Mona realizing that his opponent was now struggling to stand. He attempted to persuade Puss to leave one last time…but to no avail, the delirious tabby refused. Thus, Mona decided that the best course of action would be to take him down the old fashion way.
After a brief stretch, Mona charged in with a sequence of slashes that his opponent could barely block. As Puss tried to weakly counter, Mona perfectly parried the attack, causing the disheveled tabby to lose his balance. Taking advantage of the situation, Mona unleashed an All-Out Attack before summoning his Persona to deliver the final blow. He hits Puss with a Miracle Punch…and it’s a critical hit! The orange hero instantly collapsed, releasing his sword and hat to the ground. The espresso's effect had finally begun to fade, causing his unconscious paws to twitch as he groaned and panted in exhaustion. As Mona walked past the defeated kitten, he curiously tried on the fallen hero’s hat and cape and chuckled at how well it fit him. After briefly checking to see if his opponent was knocked out, he kicked and stepped on his face, laughing at the so-called legend. Feeling relieved from his earlier stress, the thief dragged the unconscious Puss out of the Metaverse before leaving him to lie on the cold alley floor of Shibuya, taking the hat and cape for himself. As if he felt the humiliation he suffered, Puss' body tried to stand…but without stamina, his body continued to twitch. Eventually, Puss regained consciousness in his bed, back at the local inn. Although he struggled to recall what happened, his missing hat and cape reminded him of his defeat. Tired and humiliated, he decided to allow to rest himself awhile longer before continuing his adventures.
