Yaay this is the first thing I've made without any pattern. I think it came out very nice. The ears can be moved around for various expressions. I like the green collar.
Because this is not based on any pattern, I can make more to sell if anyone wants one :) You can choose colors and even request specific dog breeds and I'll tailor it to your request. I'm thinking $15 (includes shipping) for one?

Here is a photo of all the yarn I currently have, to make color selection easier! You may request colors that I don't have, but it may take a little longer and might be a couple dollars more, so I can go out and find/buy the yarn! :)

I finished the head first (of course) a couple nights ago, then I was browsing some of Sam's stuff and I kind of regretted making the ears as thin as they are - "1 ply" lol. Because Sam's ears have a front and back, and lots of patterns have fronts and backs as well so I was considering making new ears for a while. Then I realized the original ears were just fine because it's a small enough toy that it works, plus having them thinner makes them more poseable. They can be prick ears or floppy ears! I'm pretty sure the ears are one of my favorite parts of the whole thing. :)
