Ingredients
Farm fresh squash
(One in this recipe was a large green one weighing in 2 lbs 2.5 oz)
Garlic powder
Roasted chipotle garlic seasoning
Black pepper
Salt
Garden seasoning
Parsley
Butter
Oregano
Step one preheat your oven to 400° after you remove any oven dishes stored inside. Grab a cutting board and a sharp knife as well as an oven safe dish.
Step 2 spray the oven safe dish with some Pam and place a dash of all of your seasonings onto the bottom of the pan to lightly layer it.
Step three take your squash and place it on a cutting board cut off the ends and then slice your slices into a thin slice that is about the size of a sliced pickle that you would put on a hamburger.
Take those slices and cut them into eighths and layer them onto the bottom of the pan as you cut them.
Step 4 spray the top of all the squash with some Pam spray then place your seasoning on top of the vegetables that you just placed in the oven pan.
Step 5 take your half a stick of butter and cut it into nine evenly sliced squares and place them two by two evenly spaced across from each other then once you have that done you have one to two left place those in the dead center of the squashes in the pan.
Step 6 since your oven should now be preheated to 400° place your squash into the oven at 400° for a total of 47 minutes .
Step 7 during the last 15 minutes of cooking pull the squash out of the oven and stir them really thoroughly to make sure everything gets coded in the juices that they are cooking in and spread the flavor around to every single piece and then place back into the oven to cook for their remaining time.
Step 8 wants the timer goes off you can pull the squash out let it cool and surf I drained mine from the juice so I had the squash left over some juice remain that is okay.
That's all there is to everything the squash turned out really good nice juicy and tender and soft perfect for your taste buds and my grandmother really fell in love with him and she's the pickiest eater I've ever had to deal with.
