Cloyd is the son of the famous inventor, Woodrow Smith. After an accident at his father's factory, Cloyd runs away to the life he's always wanted - a life on the sea. His father, afraid Cloyd is making a dangerous mistake chases after him. Cloyd's dream becomes a nightmare as he fights to survive amidst smugglers, corrupt naval captains and pirates. Can Woodrow rescue Cloyd? Or will the young fox reach a watery grave?
