They're a Shade! A ghost that takes the form of a black cat, however they've been known to take other forms too. Ageless, and not even knowing how long they've been around for themselves. The star-chart that flows across their semi-corporeal form constantly shifts and changes depending upon each person to person.

It is rumored this star chart when followed would lead one to what they desire most in the universe. Which often leads to Erebus being wanted or hunted down to be used for such. Thus they stick to allies they can trust or wander the galaxy cautious and alone.
