As someone who's tried the faux-3D style before, I know it takes a LOT of effort, and I think you did a spectacular job with the transition! Even though everything is fake and made of digital geometry, you did a great job of really selling the plush and cartoon jester texture of both of them, and the way reality kinda collapses around the two is so good!!
I'd love to chat more, but Caine usually shows up around this time- (At least, I think it's this time? We don't really have clocks in the circus...)
