Ranshiin took pleasure in asserting his dominance over others, bullying them into submission. The few that resisted him however, well, they didn’t last long against his manipulative, overbearing nature. One person however, had piqued his interest. And it was none other than Rowan, who also happened to be his Saga. A Saga, is a human who’s partnered with a Legendz(what Ranshiin is) to bring out their full power and potential, in battles against other Legendz. The deeper, closer their relationship and bond is, the stronger the Legendz becomes. Ranshiin however, wanted to be the one in control of their relationship, but Rowan kept defying, and opposing, him, reluctant to let Ranshiin have it their way. This prevented Ranshiin from using his abilities to their fullest extent, essentially making him much weaker compared to the other Legendz who have bonded with their Sagas. And Ranshiin resented that.
This infuriated Ranshiin at first, but he came to begrudgingly respect Rowan’s strong will and determination. These qualities, are what made him perfect for the role of a Saga. However, Ranshiin developed a perverse obsession to dominate and own Rowan. And so, Ranshiin came up with the perfect idea. One that would always keep Rowan close by, intimately strengthen their bond as Saga and Legendz, protect Rowan from harm and outside influence, give Ranshiin absolute control over his Saga, and fully unlock his powers and potential without restraint.
He was going to make the human his son, become his own flesh and blood by the means of a pregnancy through unbirthing. It was a bond never before seen nor attempted between a Legendz and their Saga. But for Ranshiin, it suited their plans perfectly.
