The Maschinenpistole-40 is a submachine gun that was first developed in 1938 in Germany shortly before World War II, but eventually became a favorite among soldiers during the war due to its advanced features. The MP40 continuously became a favorite among other military forces and saw service in wars after World War II. The latest period that the MP40 had its (limited) use was during the Syrian Civil War. The submachine gun uses a 9x19mm Parabellum cartridge in a magazine that carries up to 32 rounds, firing at 500-550 rounds per minute.
The Untold MK. II is a 2024 replacement of the older Mark I "Untold" MP40 and has been redeveloped by the Huojin Black Armory, the newest installment to the 2018 Black Armory expansion in the roleplay multiverse. This new version of the Advanced Tech series of the MP40 comes with a new magazine frame capable of using the same laser power that Sven Chevalier's "Lobotomist" PDW uses, it also comes with a hologram grid as its optical sights which can be switched on or off by the small switch at the rear end of the weapon. The small rear switch can be used to scale the opacity of the holographic retinal optic that lights up on the grid. The barrel is designed with a transparent ultraviolet barrel, similar to what is used by the Vim Pistol, used by Nexus Industries.
The folded stock remained unchanged as it would render the weapon to be lighter. Fixing the stock would make the weapon heavier, resulting in reduced maneuverability for its wielder.
