I feel like I've been waiting forever to post this!! ::hyperventilating::
Anyway lol. As I've mentioned before I still RP with my friend
from time to time, and this story is based on a conversation they had where Shelby was complaining to Marcus about how annoying it is to sell yourself and get deep space hauler contracts. I changed things around a little to make it more interesting but I thought the situation fit the prompt. I was not expecting it to be as long as it is, but I guess the story got away from me just a little. No fighting or nonsense in this one, so hopefully it isn't boring!

That was a nice story! I agree with Shelby that it's awful to sell yourself. For some reason I dislike thinking of people as brands and so on, haha.
I wonder how that would feel like to invite someone to your personal space and open up a little bit when you are 3000+ years old. But that ship as I imagine it definitely looked very cool, so it was worth showing it to him.

Thank you Blaze! Selling yourself is the worst, but in the business world you sometimes have to do it. All I know is I will never be a good salesperson lol.
Hmmm, I suppose it would depend on the person! While I am a very shy person, every now and then something about someone makes me feel okay to talk to them. Who knows what that magic is! Shelby doesn't have my issue though lol. The ship does look very cool, and she didn't mind showing it to him at all!
