Sarnaks are a cross between dragons and Iksars, a reptilian race. Here you can see this particular Sarnak, my character Zoransis, a Shadowknight of Norrath, has received quite a lot of physical attributes best of both breeds.

Thanks. The Sarnak actually are Cazic-Thule's perfect creations - perfect so as not to be devout followers (terrorists), even. The Sarnak are neutral, seen as evil by other races, but lack the history of slavery (save by the Iksars) and forced militia that the Iksar have.
They speak in a plain, almost human voice, except among themselves, their native tongue more of an almost birdlike screeching dialect that is nigh impossible for a non-Sarnak to speak.
It is because of this long history of being kept as slaves by Iksars the two races still hate each other. The Sarnak do not recognize their species were created by an Iksar experimenting with cross-breeding with dragons with intent of creating a new super-soldier slave race.
Divine intervention by Cazic-Thule himself intervened and allowed this to occur, correcting the mistake he made in creating the Iksar race, and in doing so, the Sarnaks are physically and mentally superior to Iksars. They also are the most capable of spreading fear, pain, torture, destruction, slavery, and terror to the whole of Norrath. The only problem is Cazic-Thule did not ingrain in every fiber of their being absolute devotion to him as their God.
