In light of FA persevering despite recent events, I felt like it was appropriate to post something a little more daring for this week's #FursuitFriday.
Before AC, I had never worn a tank top outside before because I was still struggling with body image/dysphoria surrounding my arms. Don't ask me how but because of testosterone, they were the last part of my body to start developing masculine muscle patterns and I thought for a long time that my flabby-ish arms would give away the fact that I was assigned female at birth. But it's been almost six years since I started T now and my arms have completely transformed in ways I never thought would be possible (part of this was also thanks to exercise, but T was the main kicker that started the toning process).
Needless to say, I turned a LOT of heads at parties and a couple of other trans guys complimented me on how great I looked in tank tops, so my mindset around this has totally changed! I now think that partialing in nothing but a tank + shorts looks AND feels great on me, and I can't wait for the next time I get to go around in a similar outfit like the one pictured. But I'm still too shy to wear this little clothing without my fursuit though, so you'll only see me trying this outfit out more at future cons ; w ;
Thanks as always to my partner Leofox for snapping multiple photos of this really special moment for me! As for the tank top, it's an older design from Nomad Complex that's no longer being sold; but you can still get it in an alternative color palette! Also yes, this is photo confirmation that I am BIPOC and not white in the slightest, lmfao.
(Photo had to be compressed to fit FA's size limit, the original image is here)
Taken at Anthrocon (2024).
