Lone... wow, man. Words fail me. I'm not an artist, I can't offer any sort of useful constructive appraisal or critique of your progress or anything... but I couldn't get past this without commenting on how much you've improved. I've been away, Marine Corps, military life, you know (I'm in Japan!) but I gotta say... the sketches you were doing when last I had the time to peruse FA were a far throw away from this. You've improved tremendously. As I skimmed through all the submissions from all my watched artists I saw this, and all at once I both recognized your style (even before I saw your name on it) and yet still stopped in my tracks and said "Lone drew that?! THAT'S AWESOME!!"
Anyway, again I can't offer anything more constructive but I just had to pop in and say wow, way to go man. Cheers.

It's nice to hear from you, thanks for taking the time to drop a word! You know, you might not have - in your own words - anything constructive to add, but knowing someone liked one of my pieces feels just as good. It also urges me to keep practicing and getting better!
I think pieces like this one are a step forward, and usually happen when I feel discontent with a recent sketch, and feel like I can do it better. That, or I just lose it, leave behind technique and restraint, and just go with whatever I feel like doing.

Faith is in Hawaii with her mother, but she got to spend a few months with me here. She won't be back until next summer :(
Kaustic has changed. A LOT. I must have reinvented him and his entire backstory like half a dozen times. His name is Xeno now, and he's a weapon, a product of some cutting edge research and development intended to produce psychokinetic soldiers. He's the first, the prototype. So he can manipulate ANYTHING now, not just the elements. I need to stop here before I launch off on a tangent, the story is AWESOME but it's very long. XD
