Hake speaks several languages and thought it would be fun to learn the buizel language he has heard Duncan speak now and then. The fun however never started. You see Pokemon languages are generally understood only by other Pokemon or their direct trainers and then only if they have a very special bond. Hake is many things but not a Pokemon. It was worth a try, Duncan dressed up in his trainer's old duds to look official, part of an upcoming Halloween costume going as his trainer in the 80's. But soon Hake and Shiro would see that learning it was just not happening. Some words just sounded exactly the same and all were made of the same three letters in various syllables and lengths. Tik was frustrated because Hake's diction was superb at first. "It's all about the nuances. Like Mandarin only more." he said in pincurchinese, It did not help.

Good thing there was no Phanpy around, "Phooey" as Hake said it was one of the worst insults imaginable and he delivered it perfectly.
