Atticus or Attici is the leader of the Tecallhue tribe, the traditional leaders of the felidar confederacy. After the death of his ineffective and viceful father the confederacy fragmented into various tribes ruled by his bastard offspring (Maikki's Varløkke tribe and Alrik's Nordrekar tribe). Yet, the remains of his birthright stands under threat of expanding colonial outposts and pirates pillaging their ancestral lands along the Barbary Sea. An impossible situation for him alone to solve.

Within these troubled times a son Atticus thought lost returned to him changed, turned into a fierce and powerful warrior. The King could not have asked for better omens, standing with his son Rayhan in a show of confidence to their traumatized people. They would push out these invaders, and prove to the other tribes that the Felidar should stand united again under his leadership.
