A couple of years back now i was in a book shop and was approached by an elderly woman who started talking to me about my past life (yes its true lol). According to her the reason why i love egyptian mythology so much is because i was previously a priestess who looked after a book much like the book of the dead. Even though i myself do believe in past lives i can't say for sure who i was, although i would love if it was true-how awesome would that conversation be over the sunday table? Pass me the spuds wench i was a priestess :) .
The tattoo itself is my own design, the two asps are my power animal, inside their chest beats a heart shaped like a pentacle (as i'm pagan and proudly so!).
The wings encircle the ankh which symbolises eternal life and the continous journey of the soul. The eye of Horus also sometimes called the eye of Ra symbolises the higher learning of my spirit that stands defiantly against those who wish ill in life and to help guard my path.
