Princess Ayeka was taking a walk through the forest, working on one of her many plans to get Tenchi to fall in love with her, when she realized she didn't know where she was. She'd wandered a long way without paying attention and now there didn't even seem to be a path. How had she gotten so lost.
At the edge of a clearing, she spied a very large, yellow toad. Was it smoking a pipe? That meant it had to be intelligent, right? Earth life was so strange sometimes. She walked up to it.
"Excuse me, but can you tell me where I am."
Looking annoyed, the toad belched a cloud of purple smoke in her face.

I've been struggling with my medication lately. My damned insurance company has decided once again to start giving orders to my doctor about what can be prescribed, which means I've been getting a poor substitute for my usual stuff. This has played havoc with my ability to get things done, so I'm frankly amazed I managed to get this sequence finished.
The original sketch didn't come with a background, so I tried reusing one from a previous sequence. Only once I inserted it did I realize that the background had been made for that specific pic and thus wasn't exact with what was behind the figures, so I had to do some messing around to make it fit. I'm not entirely happy with the result, because holy cow, I did not think about how visually busy that many trees is. Sure, deep forests will have lots of trees like this, but it's almost distracting because of how much they stand out. Unfortunately, with my medical situation being what it is, I don't really have the energy to try and make a whole new background for this - I'm not good at backgrounds to begin with . . .
Oh, well.
Also, no, I don't know why this arcane toad has a pipe. I've always portrayed it as basically a magical animal. But that's what the artist drew, so I just rolled with it. Why not?
