I'm not entirely sure, it's just what came to mind. Looks like it means 'fate' or 'destiny' in Turkish.
His eye's just made from fun foam; I'm not sure why it looks the way it does, but it's an interesting effect. I'd kind of like to get a glowing blue eye for the mask side, but I don't think I have the time/money. :\
