First of all, I was planning to upload this anytime during the first half of August 2024 but I was extremely busy with my University work, even at one point having to do FOUR assignments within a 2-week timeframe. Second of all, the Paris Olympics 2024 was already over and I initially intended to upload this while the event was still open. Now it's been almost a month since the Paris Olympics began with the controversial Opening Ceremony.

The opening ceremony of the 2024 Summer Olympics, which took place in Paris, polarized audiences around the world. It has several sections such as Lady Gaga's performance, Celine Dion's performance, the boat rides through the Seine River carrying teams of athletes representing different countries, "Liberté" (where the French heavy metal band "Gojira" performs a heavy metal version of French Revolution song "Ça Ira" with the Conciergerie being the setting and beheaded women portraying Marie Antoinette were present as well), Despicable Me's minions training for the Paris Olympics in a submarine and more. And who can forget "Festivité"? This is what my artwork is themed on: "Festivité".

The "Festivité" section displayed an array of multiple drag queens and LGBTQ models having a feast on a long table which doubles as a catwalk, with a blue-skinned near-naked man resembling the Greek God, "Dionysus" appearing at one point. While the IOC claimed that it was based on a Greek pagan feast for the Gods, many people accused that section for blasphemy, as it represented Leonardo Da Vinci's Last Supper painting. You know, I won't mind if the IOC is using a pagan feast for the Greek Gods as the inspiration since the Olympics trace back to Greek origins, but drag queens in a parody of a Christian scene? No way.

Enough about that; now I'll describe the artwork. On a bridge above the Seine River (specifically "Pont Des Arts"), 13 characters from DragonSnow's "Changed" game have a feast of French cuisine while dressed in a variety of outfits. These characters are (from left to right) DragonSnow, Yuin, Shizi, Wolf King, Fengyu, Kade, Colin, Squid Dog, Ming Cat, Elder One, Tiger Shark, Hyena and White Knight. The French food consists of (from left to right) Ratatouille, assorted cheeses with crackers and grapes, Bouillabaisse, Puro dressed up in a similar fashion as IOC's take on Dionysus and surrounded by various fruits, Escargots, Beef Bourguignon and foie gras with raspberries and crackers. We have Dr. K floating above the dining table dressed as an angel, while carried by balloons.

Although I thought there was only one bridge above the Seine River, there were actually over 30 of them. I was supposed to use the Pont Alexandre III (used for the opening ceremony) for the backdrop but given its width of 40 meters (which in my overworld system, would be equivalent to 1300+ pixels and is out of range when working with pixilart.com), it caused size constraints in my canvas from the PixilArt drawing editor. As such, I had to change to a much narrower bridge, and that is the Pont Des Arts, with a width of 11 meters (360+ pixels).

One more thing: this artwork will serve as a social experiment, so just tell me what you think of this artwork. That's all.
