Decided to take a break from revising for exams for long enough to throw this together. It's probably not as good as my usual stuff (not that my music is much good in the first place :P) but in any case...
This is the second remix of the BGM for the 1st Chapter of Ikaruga (a classic gem for the Dreamcast, and later on, the Gamecube), "Ideal".

I tried to take the theme, draw it out, remove some of the main parts so that we get a different overall feel and generally I tried to make a more "dramatic", slow-building version that's almost the opposite of the original piece.
Whether I succeeded or not is up to you, I guess. Maybe one of these days I'll actually do some art and writing again, rather than just the occasional lazy remix...someday...
