Publisher and I weren't exactly sure what to do for the Fatality series' trilogy compilation/compendium. I basically did a bunch of them with different themes, handed them over to the publisher, and told them to "Pick one." This is one of many that I made that wasn't picked in the end.
This one is based directly off of a Mewblade image, where she is playing coy behind a bunch of tears she herself generated. For Fatality, this was supposed to obscure her alienness, get her human-like face, and is a very honestly violent image to imply the fighting in the book. Granted, it also goes more noir and thriller with this look and was the publisher's favorite but not that of those whom I polled on social media.
