Ulap, for most of his life, was looked down upon by the warrior society he was born from, for having come into
the world frail. Only throught grit and will has he managed to stay alive. In-fighting and murder was common in
his tribe, but he chose to remain with them, believing in the end that he would be the one atop the mound of
dead bodies of his kin, finally victorious and feared.
Though he was a hardened man, his weak stature followed him like curse until his old age. No woman would
want him as a mate. His strength was waning, but his will to live kept pushing him to continue on. Despite his
determination, he finally accepted that his tribe would always see him as a pariah, more so now with the
ravages of time. Their chances of killing him growing with each passing day. So he exiled himself.
Life became interesting when he joined the shaman Takoda and his group. He would be empowered by a
cloaked figure to have a new, muscular body and control over his favored element of lightning. He would also
experience a catastrophic event that devastated the world, and created a temporary collision between tribes,
and then fierce in-fighting with the one he fled.
Ulap would later also join the mysterious brotherhood in their secret realm. Perhaps here, he can finally find a
place of belonging.
I wanted to blend some Native American and viking elements together. I got this.
He uses a club like that of Sokka from ATLA, but it also serves an an atlatl for his spears.
In my old Warcraft fanfic, he was intented to fill in the basic foot soldier role.
In my native language, his name means "Cloud".
