Some days go by, and elsewhere we find Zenchi and Ithaca winding down by a campfire. Just behind them is the Cobalt River, which leads directly to the appropriately named Cobalt Sea. As long as they follow the river, they know they are on the right path to G’eelm Outpost. In the distance, Fort Helmswarth can be seen on the opposite side of the river, with its towers illuminated in the night. The fortress is used as a small encampment and training ground for soldiers. Zenchi relaxes on a downed log while Ithaca performs a series of stretches to stay nimble. The dragon slowly snacks on some freshly picked honorberries as she thinks back to their encounter some days ago, “You know, Ithaca? I still can't get that damn leopard off my mind. What's her deal?”

Ithaca shares a similar sentiment, admiring Roseland’s display of strength and combat prowess, “Hm? You mean that bounty hunter? Yeah, she wasn't like most other bad guys we've dealt with. Crazy fast, super strong, and those guns she had were pretty badass.” Still, she finds herself fixated on the Gift of Magic she showed off, “Not to mention, she's GIFTED too? What are the odds, Chi-Chi?” Zenchi, after having run through all the different explanations and theories in her head, still can’t form a conclusion on just what or why it happened. “I don't know what it means. All I do know is that she's gonna be trouble when she shows up again. My question is how the hell she found us in the first place. Honestly, it's only a matter of time till-” Miraculously, they heard a familiar voice coming from the trees, “Speak of the Devil and she appears.” In unison, the duo reacts, “What the-?!” The bounty hunter had returned, nonchalantly leaning against a tree. She had been listening in to their whole conversation, completely unnoticed by either of them.
