I made a massive post contextualizing this, available to read on my Patreon for free: https://www.patreon.com/posts/brief.....ming-110784242
Tldr (though I very much think you should read the full thing for all the context):
* When I'm done with this upcoming batch of commissions (expected to finish them in September), I'm thinking about taking a break from long TGTF comics except for Friends on Another Side.
* In the meantime, I want to do more character design and original character for various personal projects, some with TG/TF in them, some more serious than others, but I think you'd find fun! General rundown:
** Fantasy RPG/JRPG character designs, just because I love the aesthetic and would love to draw more fantasy characters. May have a dedicated series planned called "We're Dying to Save the Realm".
** UNTITLED CYBERPUNK MAGICAL GIRL PROJECT, a sincere fusion of dystopian cyberpunk scifi, empowering magical girl action, and coming-of-age philosophy. My personal pet project of many years.
** RunGunBun, a scifi 80's anime throwback summed up as "Ranma 1/2 meets Metroid", with crazy alien settings, genderbending and quasi-furry antics, and general shenannigans.
** Rapture Academy (I don't have art for this one lol), a superhero/modern day alternate history setting surrounding kids with superpowers from all across the globe, raised to become superVILLAINS. The most action-packed and flashy thing I think.
** Thanks for Listening, a more mundane, down-to-earth slice-of-life/TG comic series. Yeah remember this pitch lol? An antisocial guy suddenly turning into a girl after getting involved with an all-female band, dealing with a mix of comedy, heartfelt drama, and chill vibes.
* Patreon tiers will be adjusted for this model of content, but will largely remain the same in terms of price-to-power, where folks may vote and suggest projects to work on, as well as opportunities for personalized art like OC commissions.
I would very much like to hear your thoughts! Tell me what projects you think would be cool to pursue first down below!

Slightly longer pitch! It's about a space marine who accidentally bonds to a symbiotic superweapon that just happens to make her resemble a human woman in a bunny suit (the one on the left lol). With this super-adaptive bioweapon stuck on her, the entire galaxy is on her tail, now she has to jump from planet to planet and fight off bounty hunters, pirates, justiciars, and worse. She's the bun, she's got a gun, she's on the run. T_Tb
One thing I've always adored about your art is how even with similar body types everyone always looks distinct. That's on full display with the art for your Sci-Fi Magical Girl concept! (Also I'm a sucker for robotic felines ;w;) I also can't exactly think of any sci-fi x magical girl shows (One exception I will not list as it's spoilers, and is mostly fantasy) so there's a lot of untread ground you could explore!
Ooh, this all sounds very fun and interesting!
Finally properly ironing out your Fantasy RPG ideas into a cohesive setting sounds like a great idea! Or at least a good excuse to do more~
UCMGP is the one I'm most excited to see more of, though, it's easily my favorite of the bunch and I'm always down to see more of it. Just the whole concept from the top-down and all the characters seem like a pretty enthralling time~
"Ranma meets Metroid" certainly wasn't a pitch I was expecting to hear, but it's easily the most eye-catching of the lot tbh. I especially like the color and shape language this one seems to be going for, definitely gonna be looking forward to this one too!
The other two sound like they'll be fun times too, especially coming from you, but I am especially excited for the first three, especially UCMGP, with how long you've been building that one up. I'd love to see that one get the focus first if possible, but I'd be down for any of the three tbh.
