Does fair criticism count as a "negative comment"? I don't have any, but the phrasing you've used seems a bit... extreme, which concerns me.
That aside, I think anything that makes Jamal look cute (does he like being called cute?) works IMO, whether it's a one-piece, swim trunks or whatever you choose. 😊 He looks really nice either way, splashing around in the pool, wearing his big glasses.
