On the large fertile continent of Basiliea exists a myriad number of races. The Panthera are without question the dominant species on Basiliea; they are by nature solitary, choosing to live in small tribes or completely alone. They feel no need to interact with each other. The one exception comes from an odd caste of Panthera, the Leos. Unlike their cousins the Tigris, Onca, and Uncia. Leos have developed a communal social structure. Panthera numbers are relatively small. Leos only occupy a small territory in the whole of Basilea, so when their prey migrates they are forced to subsist on what they can. The Leos Pride is the most organized of the Panthera they are also the most warlike and most advanced technologically. Lutrins are a race of otter-men living in communities along the southern coast of Basilea. They have developed an intricate bond with the sea. Simplistic culture based around a trade and barter economy using spoils from the sea either edible food stuffs or jewelry made from shells or pearls. Usagin are a race of rabbit/hare-men Squirren are squirrel-men, like the Lutrins they have settled in their own area. The territorial nature of Panthera has made nomadic life impossible. The two races have banded together to form the Union and have developed the greatest advances in agricultural technology. They are vegetarians after all. Usagin have tilled the earth while the Squirren have nurtured the orchards.

On the Continent of Basiliea the Panthera races have started a civil war over the overlapping territories. The Leos have been suffered greatly at the hands of the Onca and Tigris. Their domain, the plains, offer little protection. The Usagin and Squirren and Lutrin races have also suffered from the devastation wrought from the Pantheran Wars. They came together out of neccessity, to survive. And so was the Basiliean Federation born.

Not a creation story like the other entries, but a historical text. This is the Federation a conglomeration of Leos (female pictured here), Usagin, Squirren, and Lutrin, or Lions, Rabbits, Squirrels and Otters respectively.Gathred together to survive.. what started out as a barter system developped into a society, Leos need food but can fight, Usagin and Squirren are farmers and cant fight but need protection, Lutrin can fight but are unorganized. So the Rabbits and Squirrels farm and herd to supply food for the masses, Otters fish to help but also fight under the Leos who act as guardians.
