of course, if no one ever messed things up or ran off with things, there'd be no need for locked doors and keep out signs, and if we had a culture where people never did, no one would ever be homeless and we'd all live in a happier and much more gratifying world. best of all of course, is that humanity really IS capable of precisely that, all we need is a little different focus of priorities, instead of trying to make everything have to be begin and end with little green pieces of symbolic value.

I hate building codes....they just make buildings more and more flimsy... I've seen more houses built in the late 1800's and early 1900's still standing after hurricanes than I've ever seen of houses built after 1950. Almost all of them get FLATTENED...
