flat bread dough (google it hehee) http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Norweg.....ad/Detail.aspx (what i use and i don't do the milk i do the chicken broth in its place i don't have wheat flour so i just do normal white flour)
flax seed meal 1/2 cup (most important to be ground up! they cant digest flax seed when its hole and they don't get the nutrients when there hole) you can buy it ground up i get it from HEB a local food store here in Texas And im sure you can find it at your local food store too
and chicken broth
instead of adding water/milk to the dough i do the chicken broth
i make small/medium balls then smoosh flat and bake to desired crispness my dogs like really crunchy cookies so i generally burn them a tiny bit :P i have never paid attention as to what i set the oven at i just contently check them :P
Since most of the ones i make are huge i break apart ahead of time and feed like treats only.
because of the flax seed meal do the 3/4 chicken broth and if it seems to dry and not doughy enough keep adding tiny amounts of chicken broth till its doughy that's what i do lol i haven't ever really measured out how much extra i add
i cover it and fridge it for 30 mins so it is easier to handle and make into balls easier
If you make this for your dog I will warn you now THESE ARE NOT MEANT FOR PEOPLE TO EAT There just nasty lol I tried one. and If you make please let me know!!!!
