Achilles and Claire sat quietly on their bed, softly admiring the result of the love they shared for each other. Laying swaddled in his crib was their son Axel, sound asleep and hardly making a peep. The couple recalled the first few weeks after they'd brought him home from the hospital, how their sleep had been thrown off by the baby's cries in the night, but soon they grew accustomed to it. It was par for the course of parenting, and as first-time parents it was quite the learning experience. But their efforts paid off, as they'd gotten Axel's timing down to a T. The little coyfolf started to stir, but was soon in the arms of Claire as she gently rocked him in her arms. A stray beam of light had bothered him from his slumber, but he was soon quieted and cooing in his mother's grasp. Achilles was astonished at how adept Claire had become in such a short time. It was a moment he couldn't leave to just memory, pulling out the film camera they'd gotten for such moments they could show to their son when he was grown. And with a quiet snap the moment was captured, and it would be a cherished one for all their lives.
