I can imagine her as the main character of the video game!
A platformer, since she has the rocket backpack for high jump.
But really! I think you should keep her design! She reminds me the Skylar & Plux video game where half of the joy came from the nice looking and intentioned characters.
She definitely looks like that one, also the simple armor style look both appealing, also it makes the character modelling easier to sculpt in a 3D editor.
