I recently had my old Avatar brainrot reactivated and realized I apparently never uploaded this guy here? Or maybe I deleted him? Dunno.

The second movie kinda grabbed me with the whole recom thing. I wanted to explore what I feel as the inherent dissonance of dying and waking up in a different body - it was largely shrugged off in the movie and I think that's a shame because it's a concept with so much potential.
This guy is all about the struggle to recognize the self, the feeling that his human self and his recom self are almost like two different people (and how on earth he's supposed to deal with that), the fact that this body can exist on pandora in a way his old one couldn't and that may lead to some wild perspective shifts. Kinda taking the angle of depersonalization/dissociation in some aspects. He might learn to live with his past or he might reject it and consider himself almost like a new independent person, I'm not sure.

Thank you! It seems like the community is pretty small, but it's full of people exploring the lore and expanding on it in really fascinating ways. I think the setting is really conducive to OCs and fanworks - it's so large-scale (and so thoroughly developed) there's always going to be a niche that hasn't had the spotlight in a movie, but has the building blocks to make something interesting that feels like a real part of the setting. Perfect spot for an OC!
