Wishing For A Blueberry

You are going through some old stuff in your basement storage room, not really searching for anything in particular but wanting to mostly clean up the space as you do have plans for the room in the future. The cleaning was going pretty well, you’ve cleared out quite the area in a decent amount of time, and even have found some old items that you didn’t realize were missing.

You really started to kick it into high gear for the next couple of minutes until a strange shine catches your eye. You went through a couple of boxes to find a gold object, it was strangely shaped and had quite a bit of dust on it. You don’t remember ever seeing the item in your house at all during the time you lived here, so where could it have come from? You inspect the item pretty closely, and decide you should probably run the dust off of it, though after your first swipe the item starts to vibrate and shine very bright! You throw it to the ground and soon after very suddenly a very brightly dressed being pops out of it!

“Hello there human!” The being says to you, “Thank you very much for freeing me! As a reward I want to give you a wish!” You stand there very confused, a person just appeared out of that thing! And then it hits you as you connect the dots, It’s a Genie lamp! And they’re actually going to give you a wish! This is incredible! You stammer a hello, in return the Genie smiles and nods his head. “So? What would you like to wish for? It can be anything! And I promise I won’t judge!” Anything, hey? You think to yourself, you could wish for a brand new car, or maybe infinite money! It could be really anything! Although a thought enters your mind, something that you’ve wanted ever since you watched that one movie, as you stand there silent, you think of the scene of the girl turning into a giant blueberry. You know what you want, and you know you won’t regret it. A smile creeps across your face, the genie once again smiling back, “I want to turn into a giant blueberry!” you blurt out and instantly blush red. The genie looks at you for a second, you can see he’s trying not to judge, “Oh.” Is what he can muster, then continues on, “That’s… very interesting, oh well, it’s your wish!” He says before clapping his hands together.

Instantly you feel your body tingle, and your stomach lets out a gurgle. You see the genie squint their eyes, you already know it has begun. Your face turns blue and soon the rest of your body follows suit, your stomach gurgles again, but this time louder, before slowly beginning to push out and swell. Your mouth also seems to have a reaction to the wish, as you can taste blueberries, and the taste is only getting stronger the bigger you get. Soon enough your butt pushes out with a loud slosh also giving you a pear shape, you are in your own world, the feeling of swelling is the greatest feeling you’ve ever had. Your clothes begin to shred and snap from the pressure of your body, and you are forced to widen your stance. Your arms get pushed up by your swelling sides and your back starts to push out and swell as well. You can feel the spherical shape coming as your chest swells too, and your arms and legs begin to get swallowed up by your sides. In a matter of minutes, you are left as a big blue orb, with little hands and feet poking out the sides along with your head. And you are still swelling in the middle of your basement. The feeling of swelling still has you closing your eyes and allowing the transformation to take control, your dream however is stopped when you feel your head bump against the ceiling. “Why am I shtill growing?” You ask, failing to realize your mouth is full of juice as well. The genie looks up at you, a smile across their face “it’s your wish blueberry!” Them calling you a blueberry makes you feel so good, but you notice you are pushing furniture out of the way and beginning to fill the room! “But this is too big!” You say “I shtill want to fit in my houshe!” You begin looking around frantically, taking notice the genie backing away to give your room to grow. “Don’t you remember what your wish was you dumb berry?” The genie taunts, “Let me remind you, you wished to be a GIANT blueberry! Not a little house sized one!” “Oh no…” is all you can respond with. “That’s right! You big silly blueberry! My job is done, enjoy your wish blueberry!”

With that the genie goes back into their lamp, and then the whole lamp disappears! Leaving you to grow bigger and bigger and bigger. The ceiling starts to crack alongside the walls as you push out further and further, you can feel the pressure rising in the room as your ever swelling body is relentless against your house, the whole room creaks until CRASH! Your head explodes into the next room as you continue swelling more and more upward. You thought that you would’ve stopped by now but your body is still getting bigger and bigger! You quickly swell to fill the middle floor and soon you are pushing against the ceiling once again! This time it doesn’t last as long as you already swell through, your house collapsing around your giant blueberry frame. Even with the house destroyed you are still getting bigger, filling up your yard and driveway, it is only then you feel yourself slowing down when you begin pushing into the neighboring houses, finishing your transformation into a giant blueberry you wished to be. “At least I didn’t wish to pop” is what your first thought is. But after sitting there for a while, you enjoy how big and massive of a blueberry you are. A smile creeps across your face, “Was it worth it?” You think to yourself. You close your eyes in bliss, the feeling of your giant taught blueberry body on the splinters of your home and the nice cool ground. It most definitely was.
