When you really think it doesn’t make sense to me why Luna was so weak in the show. She the princess of the moon,dreams,and many tend to forget darkness comes with being ruler of the night. It said in the show that nightmare moon used the stars to escape and the sun is the biggest star in our solar system. So I thought if celestia could do Luna job when she was banished then Luna can do celestias job and way more. Celestia might get her powers and energy from the sun but lunas has way more things she can gain power and energy from too. Plus the sun is vary small compared to the vastness of darkness. So in this version I decided to make Luna the older sister in charge of Equestria. Luna roles got reversed so she never became nightmare moon. Luna is calm,observant,gentle,soft spoken powerful,creative,playful,confident,and compassionate. She’s able to understand her subjects in a way that her younger sister maybe can’t. She also is the mother of bat ponies. In this version she ruled equestrian for a couple of centuries before her sister was born. Luna being the older sister had more experience when it comes to ruling so when celestia came into the picture she took her under her wing after her training with star swirl was completed.she would end up realizing that this was a mistake. Luna tried her best to curved celestia’s dark nature but nothing never worked.Luna blamed the nobles,and starswirl for how her sister turned out. Luna realized that she doesn’t even recognize who celestia is anymore.
Note:Luna is a batpony, which makes her the ancestor of the bat-ponies
