Yes this sucks, I know, hence why it's in my scraps.
Was bored and threw a quick animation together of what a Dark/Shadow (think something along the lines of Dark Link from Zelda or any other "face your shadow"-type boss from a game) version of Flames would look like.
Yes the distortion and low quality even for a gif was at least partially on purpose, as are the flickering, occasional movements, blur here and there, flashes of shadow and flashes of Flames' original colours.
