Mixed-size house parties are hectic!

Tveli's tail brushed past a group of small guests dancing on the floor below her, almost sweeping one of them off their footing. Such were the quirks of being part of a mixed-size house party. It wasn't too long ago that Tveli attended an event accomodating both tiny and normal-sized guests, but there she stood in an ordinary living room, among people her own height, as well as those who stood no higher than her ankles. Despite the difficulties one would imagine to encounter when mingling normal folk and those one-twentieth their size, no-one at the party paid it much thought. It was one happy bunch through and through, creatures big and small, joining their differently-sized friends in a myriad of joy-inspiring, laughter-inducing activities made to be compatible with the partygoers' radically differing sizes. Micro-pong, giant rodeo, and plenty of impromptu cuddling sessions even between same-size guests, it was an unforgettable experience to be there at that time, whether you were the size of a cookie or not.
The blue dragon headed towards the drinks table and poured herself some blueberry punch. As Tveli filled up her drink, a pint-sized lizard clambered atop the table, looking in the direction of the other giant lizard beside them, and held up their thimble. Smiling back at the tiny reptile, she attempted to fill the creature's miniature receptacle, only to overshoot the brim with a few droplets too many and splashing the poor reptile with sugary liquid. Feeling a sliver of guilt about the whole ordeal, Tveli thought about picking them up and licking them clean, but then she remembered that would likely be a borderline violation of the 'no eating other guests' rule. But it seemed the lizard didn't mind. They were kind of laughing about the situation themselves as they grabbed a napkin to use as a towel. Smiling towards Tveli, they held out their claw, and Tveli subsequently fist-bumped her little friend back with a single finger in agreement before walking back to the living room. Taking a sip from her drink, she approached the open space in the center that served as the party's dance floor. It was occupied, like pretty much everywhere in the room, by big and small people alike, jamming along to the heavy bass and having fun. Onlookers from the side cheered on the tiny dancers showing off their exquisite moves while evading a cascade of paws from above. On one side of the dance floor, a queue had formed, made up of small folks who waited in line for their turn to have a dancing session with a big person. Of course, they were still free to jump onto the dancefloor freestyle and join several of other small guests dodging stomping paws and swooping tails for the thrill of it. But for others, being able to see and hear the world on the shoulders of a giant was worth the extra wait.
Tveli settled her drink on the side of a table and reached down, scooping up three tiny guests from the queue - a hare, alligator and a raptor. She placed the hare between her breasts, settled the alligator on top of her head, and the raptor Tveli decided to keep clutched in her claw for the time being. And it was just the ideal time for the dragon to hit the dance floor, too, because in that moment, "DJ Turn It Up" by Dimension started playing. A real banger that she could jam to for hours. Tveli grabbed her drink that she'd left on the table and began to release her energy, swinging to the drum and the bass and rocking her three friends on her body along for one hell of a ride. As the big scaly giant bounced around to the music, she started looking at the other dancers and their miniature partners. Seeing so many happy people in one place and being able to release all those good vibes filled Tveli with so much joy. And the trio she brought along were certainly enjoying what they signed up for, too. The alligator had decided to straddle Tveli's horn and was riding around on it like a rodeo bull, hollering in excitement; the raptor had slipped out of her clutch and now held on to a single one of her fingers, being swung around like a rubber band; and the hare was waving excitedly to other partygoers while being paraded around in her cleavage. It was when she lifted her cup to take a sip of her juice that she discovered a fourth passenger. A little wolf was resting in her cup, smiling straight into her eyes, who presumably crawled in there when the big dragon had settled it on the table beside her when she wasn't looking. But she had no cares in the world. She loved it! As did the wolf as Tveli raised her cup to show her approval. Approval of a night that would be an event to remember. And certainly a reason for her to look forward to the next mixed-size party, whenever it'll be. Perhaps she would even attend that one as a tiny visitor herself...
