A much-needed reboot of a pretty dark and grim character I did a while ago. With a series of rebooting old characters for my series and giving hem new life. Such as this woof that I adopted from Ken and redrawn by Banga. With his name being an old hero “Judex” meaning Judge in Latin. And wanting to give a new coat lore and character. And I love this mysterious avenger, and fun to give open-source characters a new life. So, let's take a peek at Jacques Fantomas, Aka Judex.

Bio:

Growing up, Jacques was once a greedy little bratty pup growing up. Not because his terrible, yet not old enough understand his own emotions at the time. Until one day wishing he did not have Parents, they were consumed by an unknown large carnivore. With a wide grin, and all for an “assignment” according to the large pred, right in front of the young pup. While in foster care until he become and adult to escape this trauma, he read many vigilante superheroes stories to cope with the lost. Leading to adopt the guise of “Judex” meaning “judge” in Latin. All in the hopes none can suffer the same loss as he did. Saving lives and doing what's right to protect the innocent. Even if he's not much of a fighter, he's rather a crafty schemer. Lurking and concealing in the shadows, using a mastery of stealth, disguises and even detective skills to rat out foes to justice. And using a knockout gas/smoke to paralyze his threats that they can't move. Or even using his HUGE fat belly and rump as he grinds and presses his own mass and weight to "interrogate" on his suspects, up to the point they suffocate them due to lack of air under all that dog blubber. All because he LOVES to nibble on a “few” pastries to keep his mass going on his free time.

Some see him as being a threat from his skills. Along with some morally questionable actions, but with good intentions in his heart. But most liking getting someone hurt in the process if he not careful enough depending on the criminal he tries to catch.


Personality:

Overall, Jacques (Judex) can have little self-awareness, to even being a pest due to being constantly in the shadows to sneak up on people if he feels someone is acting shady. Yet he enjoys the company of others and interacting with them. And never wanted to see them getting hurt. But there are some points of him of lacking intelligence of being in the real world. Due to studying books of heroic works and logic that works 50/50 from time to time in irl. Although he can be lazy, nibbling on sugary pastries to maintain his mass. Having little self-discipline, to even be like a playful “Pup” for extra treats. He will however go head-first into conflicts and taking on risks if someone is in trouble or needs his help. Up to said risk may get himself or the client in danger, or even killed. Overall, even if this doggo can blur between justices or vengeance, he still has a big heart deep within the shadows.
