last year today, I lost a man who held a special place in my heart. a man who brought me smiles and joy with his music and songs.

Jimmy buffet was a man who helped define my childhood. me and my dad were huge fans.

so many great memories with his music, from jamming to "ragtop day" in a real ragtop...to me just listening to his music on loop for hours on end in my room. To me Today, still listening to his songs as I head to work.

I wish I got to meet him just once.
