I really appreciate it! I'm still experimenting with everything, and I feel like I have got a better grip with colors, but one thing I feel like is not looking that great is my outlines, I just feel like I haven't got that to look right. Its like I look at everyone else's outlines and think "That looks good, it fits in, it look natural!" but when I do it all I see is "crap." So its just something I have to play around with.
GO on YouTube and look up Videos on ' Line weight'. IDK what sort of drawing program your using, does the thing your drawing on have pressure sensitivity? If not, try making the outline around the character thicker than the lines inside. Another way. when it comes to pictures with perspective, make the lines closer to the viewer heavier, and the ones further away from the viewer thinner. ^^
Oh yes, I'm actually familiar with line weight I've seen some videos on it actually! The biggest problem is trying to get myself to do that, my brain is stuck on the idea of just making the lines and it does take a little more skill to work line weight in. Thank you so much!
