Trying some animation stuff again. This time with FNF styled sprites.
This is meant to be Clip Studio Paint practice but I painstakingly chose to do this in SAI again lmao.
More of a test tough.
Maple here is broken up into a few separate layers- Head, Body, arm, mic hand, and tails.
This is just the idle animation. No poses yet.
Its a start at least...!
But you can see the jank, mostly the head and arm.
Tails too I GUESS but do I REALLY wanna struggle animating those? Not really. Not rn at least.
This was also an excuse to finally design an outfit for Maple at least.
I know I've done a few animations before (Namely the Hisuian Lilligant), but I animate SO infrequently that my skill basically resets to 0 every time lmao.
Expect to see more from this lil project in the future!

It's realy good for a first time and practice in the style, the outfit itself looks fitting for it to.
But your description on how your skill resets to 0 lord knows a lot of us can feel like that, when you haven't played a certain type of game for so long coming back rusty as all hell.
