This guy is my new little buddy. When I first started working on it yesterday, I wasn't sure if I was going to keep it for myself or add it to the two that I made for my niece. As I got farther along, I decided I'm definitely keeping the beast for myself.

He's from a pattern from Easy Crochet Critters by Vanna's Choice. The stripe down his back is supposed to be slightly more defined spikes, but I think it was the thicker yarn I was working with that made them less defined. The main green yarn has some sparkle to it. The spike green yarn is organic, is super soft, and smells very nice!
